Rowan's two great passions, dancing and teaching, first led her into Ballroom dance instruction at Towson Dance Studio in 1997. There she taught Bronze level American Ballroom dances such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing, Cha-cha, Tango, and Rumba, as well as choreographing couples' first dances for their weddings until 2001. But after dancing Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata socially for 10 years in Baltimore and DC clubs, Rowan decided to return to dance instruction as a teacher with Dancing With Grace. Here she combines her enthusiasm for Latin dance with her academic expertise in adult instruction. She makes classes fun and entertaining, in addition to informative and easy to follow. Rowan works as an Instructional Designer and Corporate Trainer in Linthicum, and lives in Arbutus with her two retired racing greyhounds.
